The duMonde Group is experiencing rapid growth and we are currently seeking high-calibre, experienced consulting practitioners for ‘Consultant’ and ‘Training’ roles across diverse and challenging projects in the defence market.

About the Roles

Supporting duMonde's customer facing operations, these roles will deliver insightful analysis with practical solutions that our clients value and require highly developed skills in;

  •   Research and analysis (research on Government & Defence Sectors)
  •   Client project management (taking responsibility for specific client deliverables from project definition to execution and delivery)
  •   Management and delivery of defence industry related training material
  •   Business development (supporting Directors with customer liaison and relationship management, meeting facilitation and deliverable support)



duMonde seeks expressions of interest from experienced Consultants who can make a real impact to our dynamic and rapidly expanding firm. As a Consultant with duMonde you will have the ability to quickly build trusted and mutually beneficial client relationships formed around your defence related subject-matter expertise.


duMonde seeks expressions of interest from experienced trainers to deliver a range of face to face workshops and associated post training activities that are targeted at those organisations providing services to the Australian Defence Industry. As a duMonde trainer you will be at the forefront of our engagement strategies designed to provide focused and high quality training services to this vital component of our national interest.

The Ideal Candidates

Candidates should have proven experience in; bid and project management, market research & analysis, strategic planning or a background in supply chain management having delivered AIC programs within the defence market, training program creation, management and delivery, general business winning skills and an entrepreneurial nature.

Candidates will need to demonstrate that they possess the following skills and experience relevant to their chosen role;

  •   Knowledge and experience of working on Defence projects / within the Defence Sector with a specific understanding of the Industry landscape and key players
  •   Proven experience in complex market research and analysis with a strong ability for analytical and critical thinking
  •   Strong communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills
  •   Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite (particularly Microsoft PowerPoint)
  •   Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline highly regarded
  •   Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher for duMonde training roles
  •   5 years experience in training delivery
  •   Must have (or have recently held) an AGSVA security clearance.
  •   Open to applicants within Canberra (or willing to re-locate to Canberra).
  •   Consideration will also be given to experienced consulting practitioners from other industries with the right values and attributes looking to break into this challenging sector.
